We are Tom and Rachael. Together we run Thistle and Rose Concepts Ltd, a 
property renovation company, based in Nottingham. We undertake domestic maintenance, commercial and small works. But our speciality is full property/room renovations.
We are passionate about houses becoming homes, dreams becoming reality and spaces being used to their full potential. So we would love to share our experience and knowledge with you as you embark on your project. Thistle and Rose Concepts are here to help you redefine the concept of your home.
We want to give you an insight into us and tell you a bit of our story so far;
In 2014 Rachael moved from her home city of Edinburgh to Nottingham. Not long after this she met Tom. The two of them hit if off instantly and became inseparable. As electricians they spent their first few years working for local electrical firms, quickly progressing into management roles. But they always knew their hearts lay in running their own company, a company that could be a ‘one-stop-shop’ solution for their clients. So they set about learning other trades, gaining qualifications and invaluable site-based experience from other professionals. Before long Tom and Rachael had a wealth of knowledge in their arsenal, qualifications to match, 15 years’ experience in the building and construction industry and a level of excitement unparalleled. Thistle and Rose Concepts was born.
‘We chose the name Thistle and Rose Concepts because of its multifaceted approach. As an Anglo-Scot partnership we felt it was important for our company name to reflect this union of nations in some way. What better way than with our national flowers. We also often find our names get abbreviated to T&R a lovely parallel to our company name, also T&R. With these personal details woven into the name Thistle and Rose it was the perfect choice for us. So much so it has become our tradition to leave a bouquet of thistles and roses with our clients at the end of large projects.’
Today we undertake projects of all sizes; from kitchens to bathrooms, electrical to plumbing, flat roof replacements and artificial grass installations. Being a multi-disciplined company, we find ourselves in the unique position where we have the qualifications, skills and workforce to cover nearly all the trades people are looking for, our staff are experienced, qualified and DBS checked. Coupled with our background in design we often find our services are called upon from conception to completion, from single-trade jobs to multi-trade jobs. Our teams work in the commercial, public and domestic sectors. We’ve worked hard for our reputation, so let our reputation work for you.
